According to researcher Dr. Masaru Emoto, human thoughts are directed at water can transform its physical structure.  Photographs show  a transformation of the physical properties of water that can be achieved through prayer, music or by attaching written words to a container of water. Words can harm and words can heal our diverse "bodies of water."

Finding your words for Healing Water: Exercises

What colour is water?

1. Chose a color.

2. Write down words to describe actions, emotions and physical sensations the color seems to be associated with.

3. Take walk, noticing and writing down everything of that color you encounter.

4. Come back to your desk and write two sentences or less, using just 5 of the words you have written down.

Bodies of Water

Water is inside you and outside you. Consider the ways you experience water in your day and write down a verb to describe the action involved. Are these words complete in themselves? Or you might want to write a poem or a paragraph incorporating these words.

 Affinities

Take a walk outside with a pencil and paper, looking for a manifestation of water that attracts you. Spend sometime admiring the water, and write down three sentences that explain what draws you:

 I love  _________ because_____________.

Back inside, rewrite the sentences so they describe you:

I love myself because: ________________.
